T. C. Lewis & Co.'s Excavation and Utilities Divison is equipped with an immense inventory of equipment to offer excavation and utility services on virtually any scale. We offer all phases of site preparation, including: Site planning, underground utility installation, pumpstations, stom drainage, clearing and grubbing, building pad prep, and road, highway, and parking lot construction. The division works and holds licenses in Western North Carolina, Northeast Tennessee, and Southwest Virginia. Division services are offered to homeowners and individual clients, investors, municipalities, commercial, and corporate clients.

The Excavation and Utilities Division understands that there's more to preparing a site than mowing down trees and shuffling dirt from one place to another. We look at cost-effective ways to prepare a site that capitalize on its maximum potential, while taking into consideration the natural lay of the land and its natural features. We make our best effort to reuse as much of the organic waste produced by the clearing process as possible on-site, while minimizing the need to haul debris off-site to other locations or landfills. The option is offered to developer clients to have a project certified through the ANSI ICC National Green Building Standard. The program has a star-rating system (1-4 Stars) that rates the development of the project from a green perspective.
