Adam Hendrickson
Green Builder/Contractor, HERS Rater, Green Verifier
Adam Hendrickson is originally from Maryland and has resided in the Tri-Cities for the last ten years
with his wife, Stacey, and their son, Wyatt. Adam brings over 15 years of construction experience to
T. C. Lewis & Co. He is a licensed contractor, Certified Green Professional through the National Association of Homebuilders, a certified HERS Rater through Southface in Atlanta, Georiga, and
a certified Green Verifier for the ANSI/ICC National Green Building Standard program.
Adam is passionate about conservation, building green, building with the land, and “common-sense”
design that will work to enhance the quality of the structure. He encourages all T. C. Lewis & Co. clients
to consider going green with projects- whether for environmental reasons, or from a financial and
energy efficiency standpoint. Adam has been integral in the development of awareness and education
in green building for Northeast Tennessee. He acted as the co-founder of the Northeast Tennessee
Green Building Council, and is involved in continuing efforts to work with area municipalities in
developing a recognition and reward program for green-built projects. He remains the only licensed
HERS Rater and Green Verifier in the region. He is also serving as the project manger for residential
construction on the first and only ANSI, ICC, and NAHB 4-Star Rated Green Community in the state
of Tennessee- Carolina Cove.
