Cody Lewis
T. Cody Lewis was born in the mountains of Western North Carolina in the small town of Sylva. His childhood was spent hunting, playing sports, and riding horses with his dad, grandfather, and older brother Cory. Cody gained his appreciation for the value of business relationships by working with his parents and decided to follow their example in all of his business ventures. He graduated Suma Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate and Business Management. Florida State’s College of Business is recognized as the nation’s No. 9 Real Estate school and is known for its award winning research and faculty.
During his time at FSU Cody was fortunate enough to be selected by the College of Business to meet with Warren Buffett at his headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Cody was greatly impressed by Mr. Buffett’s down to earth nature and life-long devotion to family business. Cody’s decision to come to Johnson City was an easy one. He is following in his brother’s footsteps and is excited to put his degree to work. Cody plans on returning to school to pursue his MBA in Finance and Real Estate to better position T. C. Lewis & Co. Properties for future expansion.
