T. C. Lewis & Co.’s Design and Planning services encompasses nearly all areas and types of design. Services include landscape design, space planning, enhanced design, construction documents, and as-built drawings. The team provides the ability to customize existing plans or totally develop a custom design. We look at interpreting a client’s needs in combination with unique offerings of a specific site to produce the most aesthetic, energy and cost efficient solution for the client’s available time and budget.

T. C. Lewis & Co.’s experienced team is led by Dave McClelland who earned his degrees in architecture and environmental design from Ball State University, and studied extensively at Frostburg State and The Technical University of Berlin.  We specialize in high-end residential design, custom interior environments, and landscape design- all with a focus on integration into the natural surroundings.

More specifically, we offer:
Design development, including 2D floor plans and exterior elevations
Detailed design for custom elements, such as furniture, built-ins, and cabinets
Complete sets of (official) construction drawings- new construction or remodels
As-built architectural drawings of existing structures in 2D and/or 3D

We provide these services for clients in-house, as well as independently to other builders, developers, their clients, and the general public.  All structures should be fused to their place physically and psychologically.  Whether a simple renovation or new construction, design efforts should consistently focus on the idea of manifesting the ‘spirit of place.’
